What is "PRIMING your coil"
What is the term "priming your coil"?
To put it simply, priming your coils is the action of applying your e-liquid to the cotton material within you coil. We advise you to do this in order to ensure your coil is set up correctly before you vape.
All coils apart from the rebuildable ones will come with cotton in them. When you set up your coil or replace it, you need to make sure you saturate it before you use it.
The easiest way to do this would be to drop a few droplets of e-liquid directly into the coil from the top opening, making sure the droplets land on the cotton. Another way to do this is if you have cotton holes on the sides of your coils you can drop a few droplets on each of the holes to make sure its saturated.
3 Steps of Priming Coils
1. Begin by adding a few drops of e-liquid to each cotton hole, as this will start the process.
2. Once you have reassembled your tank, proceed to fill it with e-liquid.
Note: It can sometimes take between 10 - 15 minutes for the e-liquid to completely soak into the coils.
3. After the 10 - 15 minutes has passed, puff your tank without firing your mod. This helps to bring the juice up into the coil and speeds up the process. Once you have done this you can proceed to vape.
Note: If you have a variable wattage device, we recommended for you to set the wattage lower than where you would normally use it. This is so you can ease your coil into vaping and it pro-longs the coil life span. You can gradually turn it up to your preference.
